The Aquarium has just completed a renovation that has renewed its main building to the core, and the iconic Giant Ocean Tank has undergone a top-to-bottom, 21st-century transformation. The new exhibit has more than 2,000 animals, a revitalized coral reef and new exhibit spaces at the top.

There are many ways to experience the Aquarium. If you want to create your own tour, NEA’s engaging exhibits, trained educators and hands-on animal demonstrations will keep you busy and entertained. If you are interested in planned activities, NEA has tours, programs and daily presentations and shows.

Daily Presentations: These daily entertaining events include penguin feedings, seal trainings, dives in the Giant Ocean Tank and live animal presentations. NEA’s daily schedule will tell you when to catch your favorite presentations.
Special Programs: Join NEA for Family Days at the Aquarium. Schools and other qualifying groups can also schedule Explorer Classes for kids and special IMAX showings. Get in the exhibit with the seals with NEA’s new Take a Dip with the Harbor Seals and Take a Dip with the Northern Fur Seals programs.
