With all the names engraved on a lengthy black wall, this is a solemn memorial to all those who had served and perished in Vietnam.
The view from the top of the Mall is spectacular. Make sure you have time for this as it is very crowded with people. You need at least min. of 30-45 minutes from the time you arrive.
No visit to DC is complete without visiting the Washington Monument. It is worth seeing and is quite impressive close up. Only thing is you can not go up till 2019.
