National Museum of Natural History programs are also free unless otherwise noted. For more call 202-633-1000.<\/p>\n<p>Open every day except Dec. 25 from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.<\/p>\n<p>The Museum is open until 7:30 PM for certain holidays. Please check online the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mnh.si.edu\/calEvents\/hours.asp\" target=\"_blank\">hours calendar<\/a> for these late closings.<\/p>\n<p>Photography is allowed in all exhibitions except where otherwise indicated. The use of tripods is not permitted inside the museum unless permission is granted by the museum&#8217;s Public Affairs Office. Tripods may be used on the museum&#8217;s grounds.<\/p>\n<p>The Museum offers group discounts for the Live Butterfly Pavilion, Atrium Caf\u00e9, and for the IMAX theater.
